Elizabeth Miller, a seasoned family caregiver, Certified Caregiving Consultant, Certified Senior Advisor, and founder of Happy Healthy Caregiver, LLC, is here to offer a fresh perspective. In this engaging event, Elizabeth will draw from her personal and client experiences to deliver practical self-care strategies that work. Learn how to carve out just a few minutes each day for yourself and discover the secrets to making self-care a non-negotiable part of your life.
Bio: Elizabeth Miller is a family caregiver advocate, speaker, author, Certified Caregiving Consultant, and Certified Senior Advisor. She obtained a B.A. in Journalism from Penn State University and has worked in corporate IT and strategy roles for over 20 years. Elizabeth’s experiences caring for aging parents with chronic and terminal illnesses and for a sibling with developmental disabilities inspired her to create Happy Healthy Caregiver, LLC, in 2015. Through her coaching services, speaking, award-winning podcast, book, and online community, Elizabeth helps family caregivers infuse caregiving and self-care with their busy lives. She hosts the Happy Healthy Caregiver podcast on the Whole Care Network, author of Just for You: A Daily Self-Care Journal, and facilitates support groups for family caregivers. Elizabeth is also an ally and program guide for Brutally Beautiful organization which offers nature-based wellness retreats for family caregivers. She is an empty nester living in Marietta, GA with her husband and two dogs.
